Section 1
This document defines the terms and conditions for the booking of a bedroom in the Guest House “Les Petites Terres”.
Section 2 – The Stay
The booking is made for a specific stay with a predefined number of nights. By no means, the client can stay longer in the place unless agreed with the Guest house owner.
Section 3 – Reservation
On acceptance of the booking a deposit will be due. This deposit will have to be sent less than 2 days after the demand of reservation.
Deposit requested :
* One and Two night stays : One night rate
* For longer stay : 30% of the total rate
The deposit is to be paid by cheque (for French à l’ordre de Mme MONSANSON) – or by bank transfer or Paypal
The reservation will be confirmed at the reception of your deposit (cheque/postal order/bankers).
Prices include VAT and tourist tax.
Section 4 – Cancellation by the Guest
Any cancellation should be notified by writing as soon as possible. We are a very small business and cancellation can have a big impact on us.
a) In all cases, the deposit paid is due and will not be refund
b) In the event of a cancellation up to 7 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival no more charge than the deposit will be made
c) If you cancel your reservation within 7 days of the scheduled date of arrival and we can charge you the total price of the reservation if we did not manage to book the rooms again.
d) Guests failing to arrive, without notification, may be responsible to a charge equivalent to the total reservation price.
e) If you decide to stay less than booked, the total amount of the reservation price is due.
Section 5 – Cancellation by Us
Should it become necessary for us to cancel a booking we will contact you immediately. Any payments made will be refunded in full. Should you wish to, we will attempt to book you into another local bed and breakfast in a similar standard of room(s). Our liability will not extend beyond these conditions.
Section 6 – Check-in
Check in is available from 4.00pm to 8.00pm (16:00 to 20:00) on the day of arrival. We ask you to confirm your Check-in time the day before arrival.
Section 7 – Check-out
We ask that you please vacate your room by 11.00am (11:00) on the morning of departure.
Article 8 – Payment
Payment is due on the morning of departure. As a small business, sorry we do not accept credit cards.
Article 9 – Change of rooms
If a booking is taken out for a specific room and the room reserved is required to meet a specific guest needs or rendered unusable via circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to transfer the booking to an alternative room of similar quality.
Section 10 – Pets
Pets are not permitted in the house or on the adjoining land.
Section 11 – Way of life
Please take care of our home, and be respectful of other guests staying in the Guest House. It is a non smoking house and SMOKING is NOT permitted within any part of our Guest house. Please note that offending guests may be asked to leave immediately and may be liable for professional cleaning of any rooms and any outstanding balance of nights booked but not taken through early departure. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur especially if you accidentally spill something – it’s much easier to clean if we know what it is and act quickly. We do not normally charge for breakages, but we reserve the right to charge for repair or making good if the damage is significant.
Section 12
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. By sending the deposit, you accept and will respect the terms and conditions of this agreement.
